Making as Problem-Based Learning (PBL)

The following presentation was prepared by a group of public K-12 educators in Colorado as an "investigation project" in INTE 6750: Trends & Issues in Learning Design and Technology. They are sharing with you resources they have discovered as they consider how they can use PBL in their own classes; especially as they begin teaching their K-12 students remotely. While I recognize we teach a variety of audiences, I'd like to see what is transferable.

From the Field Video Example

Meet Jodi Garner; STEM coordinator at Northridge Elementary in St. Vrain Valley School District, Longmont, Colorado. She was not able to join us live this week so I asked her to share how she uses Maker Education within her school.

Wondering: What resonates with you and how you can implement PBL in your current work?

Join us for our Live Maker Meet-up at 11 am ET (note the different time) and/or share your thoughts about PBL within our [Optional] PBL Discourse board.
